Jamis' Renegade lineup has been shuffled around for 2020 and this new S4 model combines the frame of the Expat with the more affordable components of the Explore model.
Built with Reynold's 520 chromoly steel, the frameset is a noticeable improvement in ride quality over similarly priced aluminum models and is outfitted with Sora, Shimano's better recreational rider parts kit.
It’s a 9 speed group that's excellent for the money and does most of what the more expensive groups do. It has mechanical disc brakes and weights a bit more.
