Review: www.cyclist.uk/felt-breed-carbon
The Breed Carbon is purpose-built for fast, serious gravel riding and racing.
It starts with a full Ultra High Modulus carbon fiber frame and fork which offers a offers a noticeably smoother ride quality than price point "carbon composite" framesets.
The Breed Carbon comes equipped with 700c wheels, which preserve its dialed in performance riding geometry for those preferring a road bike feel and paved road speed.
But, the frame design also allows you to also outfit the bike with 650b x 47mm wheels for cross country capability or even equip it with massive 29 x 2.0 inch mountain bike wheels for the most trail-worthy setup possible.
The componentry is Shimano's new 12 speed GRX 610 gravel specific kit with 2x mechanical shifting, hydraulic disc brakes and the ability to be set up single or double chainrings.
NOTE 11 speed GRX 600 components were discontinued by Shimano. This is old inventory that some brands are still using on their bikes.
The wheelset features Devox Tubeless Ready aluminum rims and Vittoria Tubeless tires. Just add sealant and you are ready to roll.
Finally, the new Breed Carbon is Dropper Post ready. The ability to lower and raise your seatpost at while in motion leads to a whole new level of off-road handling prowess and capabilities.
