Description of Aventon Pace 500.3 Step Thru

Aventon's most popular model, the Pace 500 has been chosen by Bicycling Magazine as an Editor's Choice every year since its introduction in 2019.

This edition of the bike has been upgraded to include a simpler Pedal Assist System, greater battery range, integrated turn signals and a bottom bracket torque sensor for smoother acceleration and greater range.

The Pace 500 has proven to be well built and reliable, with performance exceeding the 250 watt systems from Bosch and Yamaha used on the majority of mid-motor e-bikes.

Pace 500s are 500 watt Class 3 E-bikes, that means it includes both a throttle option up to 20 mph and a Pedal Assist System which can reach a maximum speed of 28 mph.

At 50 lbs, this Aventon is light enough for most people to load onto a car rack without assistance, significantly lighter than most of the other E-bikes on the market today.

You can remove the battery in just a few seconds and drop the weight to just 40 lbs which is light enough to hang from many hanging type racks, although we always recommend a platform hitch rack for safety.

Handlebar mounted buttons control the uncomplicated, easy-to-read display. You’ll be able to keep track of everything, including speed, distance, and battery level.

The bike also includes wired in front and rear lights for riding or commuting after dark as well as turn signals and brake lights.

Our price for Aventon includes assembly ($180 value) and 1 year of tune-ups and adjustments.
