New for 2020, the Rad-ix MIPS is a trail riding helmet combining the lighter weight and ventilation of a XC mountain bike helmet with the increased coverage and durability of a freeride helmet.
It is also equipped with Giro's newest Roc Loc system (version 5.5) which combines the fit and positioning adjustments with MIPS technology for an added measure of protection in the event of an angled impact.
Like a Freeride helmet, the outer Hardbody shell wraps underneath and extends to the inside of the helmet. It is molded from a tough polycarbonate that's fused permanently to the EPS foam liner by the In-Mold process to enhance durability without excess weight.
