All Shimano hydraulic disc brakes use non-corrosive mineral oil instead of automotive type DOT fluid.

It is better for the seals and pistons and holds it bleeds better because unlike DOT fluid, mineral oil will not absorb water from the air.

Not caustic and non-toxic.

Works with Tektro and Bengal brakes.
